Freebee Brings On-Demand Rides to Doral's Senior Citizens
Doral, FL — On April 15, 2024, the City of Doral launched a pilot program in partnership with Freebee to offer free, on-demand, door-to-door transportation for residents aged 65 and older. This service is available Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., and on Fridays from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Seniors can request rides within Doral city limits to destinations such as parks, grocery stores, health facilities, community centers, retail stores, pharmacies, and places of worship. Riders can easily book through the Ride Freebee mobile app or by contacting Freebee’s dispatch line, and for their first ride, they need to present valid ID—after which the verification requirement is lifted.
This initiative reflects Doral’s efforts to enhance mobility and independence for its older residents, making essential trips more accessible and stress-free.
