Freebee Debuts in Bradenton: Eco-Friendly Rides Now Available Downtown

Bradenton, FL — Freebee has officially arrived in downtown Bradenton, offering free, all-electric, on-demand rides throughout the area's Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) district. Service is available Wednesday through Sunday, providing residents and visitors with a convenient, sustainable alternative to driving and parking.

Bradenton’s Vice-Mayor Marianne Barnebey captured the spirit of the launch, noting, “The City of Bradenton is trying to develop itself as a livable, walkable area.” She also highlighted a key benefit: reducing local traffic, saying, “That’s one more or two more cars that’s not going to be on the road.”

The service connects passengers to popular local spots like the Village of the Arts, LECOM Park, and the Riverwalk. Riders can easily request Freebee rides via the mobile app and flag vehicles down—as one satisfied user put it, disbelief quickly turns into delight when people realize, “They don’t believe it’s free. It’s actually free.”
